Polymers for industrial 3D printing: PS Polystyrene

PrimeCast in 3D printing

This transparent, foamed white, amorphous, or semi-crystalline thermoplastic has high stiffness, medium hardness and strength, but only low impact strength.

Areas of application: 3D-printed parts made of polystyrene (PS) are used in master models for vacuum casting, plaster casting, and ceramic shell casting.
