URMA MX Diamond: Giannis Tooling Time

Precision and efficiency in hard and cast machining

With MX boronite, URMA has developed a high-performance tool for the high-precision machining of cast iron, powder metallurgical materials and hardened steel – up to over 60 HRC. Equipped with CBN (cubic boron nitride) cutting edges, the second hardest material after diamond, the modular tool guarantees maximum tool life, excellent surface quality and reliable process reliability.

The tried-and-tested URMA interchangeable head system enables quick wheel changes without additional adjustment work – ideal for automated processes and the series production of demanding components such as hydraulic housings or cutting rings.
