Following the introduction of the MX diamond for light metal machining, the demand for a face milling cutter for cast iron and steel was high. URMA has therefore developed the MX boronite face milling cutter! MX boronite is also equipped with the high-precision RX quick-change interface, which ensures perfect axial run-out when changing the cutting edges without additional readjustment.

The latest generation of face milling

The high tool rigidity of the MX boronite enables leaner production processes and automated manufacturing. With feed rates of 0.05 to 0.3 mm per tooth and cutting speeds of up to 3’000 m/min, MX boronite is ideal for short machining times.
