MX boronite_URMA

MX boronite: For efficient machining of cast iron, powder metallurgical materials and hardened steel

We also rely on the URMA replaceable head system for the MX boronite and thus offer a modular cutting tool. The CBN-tipped milling tool is ideal for machining powder metallurgical materials as well as hardened steels and cast iron.

CBN (cubic boron nitride), the second hardest material after PCD (polycrystalline diamond), offers significantly less tool wear compared to other cutting materials. The solid carbide disc with tipped-CBN, offers excellent stability to achieve best flatness and dimensional accuracy. This is essential when machining hardened steel with a hardness of 60 HRC or more.
