On May 7 and 8, 2026, over 400 guests joined URMA AG in celebrating the opening of the new Experience Center in Maegenwil. With this modern center of excellence, URMA AG is setting new standards in customer service, technology development, and hands-on training.

In addition to providing additional workspaces, the URMA Experience Center offers customers, partners, and interested parties a platform for innovation and dialogue. Spanning over 1,000 m², the center combines cutting-edge industrial technologies, hands-on demonstrations, and training opportunities. The goal is to deepen understanding of modern machining techniques such as CNC machining, industrial 3D printing, and machining technologies, and to develop customized solutions for customers.
Two Days Filled with Many Highlights
For the grand opening on May 7, URMA AG welcomed numerous guests, including representatives from industry, research, and politics. Following a welcome address by Co-CEO Yannick Berner and remarks from Aargau State Councilor Dieter Egli and Swissmechanic President Nicola Tettamanti, the new facilities were officially inaugurated.
On May 8, an open house was held for customers, interested parties, and all URMA employees.

Long-standing partners such as DIHAWAG, Roesler, and Motorex have leased space in the building and, with automation, software, and post-processing solutions as well as customized manufacturing processes, expand URMA AG’s comprehensive range of manufacturing technologies.
Forward-looking projects
The Experience Center hosts regular training sessions and industry events to promote knowledge sharing and professional development within the manufacturing sector. The modern facilities can be booked for meetings, conferences, training sessions, or corporate events for up to 100 participants. The ground floor features a spacious exhibition area as well as meeting rooms and can be rented for conferences, events, or presentations.
