MX boronite: Machining Cast Iron and Hardened Steel Made Easy
High-Precision Machining of Hardened Steel and Cast Iron with CBN
URMA AG expands its milling portfolio with MX boronite – delivering precise and efficient machining of cast iron and hardened steel!
CNC Cast Iron Milling Made Easy: MX boronite
URMA also uses its modular interchangeable-head system for MX boronite, offering a versatile machining tool. The CBN-tipped milling tool is ideal for machining powder metallurgy materials, hardened steels, and cast iron.
CBN (cubic boron nitride), the second-hardest material after diamond, offers significantly lower tool wear compared to other cutting materials. In addition to precise shaping and dimensional accuracy, this enables reliable machining of hard materials, including steel with a hardness exceeding 60 HRC.
