URMA at Olma Messe in St. Gallen for the first time

URMA is coming to Eastern Switzerland: From November 3–5, 2026, we’ll be at Olma Messe in St. Gallen. At the AM Hub, we’ll showcase Formlabs SLA and SLS technologies.

Take the opportunity to speak directly with our experts and learn how additive manufacturing can support a wide range of applications—from detailed prototypes and durable functional parts and fixtures to flexible low-volume production.

Formlabs SLA

The ideal solution for functional prototypes, jigs, and manufacturing aids

Formlabs is known for precise SLA 3D printing of functional prototypes and jigs when fit, fine details, and smooth surfaces are essential. In the stereolithography process, liquid, light-sensitive resin is cured layer by layer. This produces precise, dimensionally accurate parts with fine details and high repeatability—ideal for assembly, testing, and manufacturing aids, as well as near-production testing. This allows you to shorten iteration cycles, quickly validate geometries, and rapidly put prototypes and ready-to-use jigs into use.

Formlabs SLS

Rugged Parts Directly from the Powder Bed

With Formlabs SLS, you can produce durable prototypes, fixtures, and small-batch parts made from engineering plastics such as nylon and TPU. A laser selectively fuses the powder layer by layer, while the surrounding material supports the parts during printing. This allows you to produce even complex geometries, moving joints, and interlocking components without the need for separate support structures. The printed parts are suitable for functional testing under realistic conditions, as well as for enclosures, manufacturing aids, and ready-to-use final components. This enables you to produce flexibly, use the build volume efficiently, and manufacture small batches cost-effectively as needed.

URMA is an expert in 3D printing—from the initial consultation to quality control

In recent years, URMA has significantly expanded its expertise in 3D printing—both through applications in our own production and by building a broad portfolio of machines. Together with our partners EOS, Markforged, Formlabs, DyeMansion, and Solukon, we offer comprehensive consulting services to help you implement or expand your additive manufacturing capabilities.
