These are the highlights you can look forward to at Swiss Plastics Expo 2026
Experience the versatile possibilities of 3D printing with products from EOS, Formlabs, and Markforged at our stand - from initial design ideas to functional parts and high-quality tools for series production. Take the opportunity to get to know new ways of plastics processing and exchange ideas directly with our experts.
EOS
Small series without injection molds
The industrial polymer 3D printers from EOS use the SLS process and enable tool-free small series production as an alternative to injection molding.
M290
The EOS M 290 has the most extensive range of validated materials and processes on the market. The DMLS technology enables new possibilities in toolmaking through contour-based cooling and offers various advantages in injection molding applications.
Formlabs
The ideal solution for functional prototypes, fixtures and prototype tooling
Formlabs stands for precise SLA 3D printing of functional prototypes and devices when accuracy of fit, fine details and smooth surfaces are required.
In the stereolithographic process, liquid, light-sensitive resin is cured layer by layer. This produces stable, dimensionally accurate components with high repeat accuracy - ideal for assembly, inspection and production aids as well as near-series tests. This allows you to shorten iterations, validate geometries quickly and quickly bring prototypes and ready-to-use devices into application.
Markforged
Robust fixtures & end-use parts made from fiber-reinforced 3D printing
Markforged brings continuous fiber-reinforced 3D printing to production: continuous fibers made from carbon, glass fiber or Kevlar are inserted into a robust onyx base. This creates very stiff, resilient components with a precise fit and excellent strength-to-weight ratio. This is ideal for assembly and testing equipment, grippers, clamping devices, machine internals and ready-to-use components in industrial environments.
Symposium
Presentation on the topic "Toolmaking in Transition – The Potential of Additive Manufacturing" as part of the panel discussion with our Frank Gersbach.
