MX technology refers to the URMA interchangeable-head system for milling tools and stands for M = Milling and X = eXchangeable.
The MX family currently includes:
- MX boronite: CBN-equipped quick-change cutting rings
- MX diamond: PCD-equipped quick-change cutting rings
The MX separation interface corresponds to the RX interface and allows quick insert changes with easy handling and positioning accuracy below 4 µm without additional adjustment.
