Ream–Honing is a combined machining process in which a reaming operation is immediately followed by honing.
The reaming step performs preliminary machining within precise tolerances for diameter, form, and position, followed by finishing with honing stones.
With URMA RH tools, this combined process can be completed in a single operation. The combination of both processes ensures exceptionally high process reliability, repeatability, and surface quality.
