Polyamide (PA), commonly known as nylon, is widely used in 3D printing due to its strength, toughness, and chemical resistance. It is available both as filament (FDM/FFF) and powder (SLS).
PA offers high tensile strength, impact resistance, and a certain degree of flexibility, making it suitable for demanding functional applications.
Applications: functional prototypes, serial parts, flexible mechanisms, load-bearing components.
